Passport To Peace

Heart for Venezuela needs our help!

Looking for a way to put some of the funds you’ve saved from reduced spending or travel to good use? The Passport to Peace Foundation, in collaboration with Heart for Venezuela, needs your help to bring warmth and hope to Venezuelans in need currently living in Chile. Many immigrants and Chileans have lost their jobs as a result of the pandemic, and to make matters more challenging, it is now winter in Chile and people must endure freezing temperatures in homes without heat and with little to no winter clothing or blankets. In addition, the country has been in turmoil since October 2019 due to social unrest, which has worsened conditions for employment. With the help we have received so far, we have been able to deliver produce and non-perishables, heaters, beds, Mother’s day gift baskets, basic home furnishings, and in one day, we even delivered 200 blankets to various families around Santiago!

Every day there are more people who need support. We can’t stop now, so we need you. As the country continues to remain in lockdown due to Covid 19 (people are only permitted 2 timed passes a week to leave their houses and no non essential businesses have been open since March), morale and the ability to self-sustain are dwindling. With any donation, you will receive photos of who your donation helped and how it served them.

If you are in the United States and are able to help, you can make a donation to the Passport to Peace Foundation (tax deductible). 100% of the proceeds will go to the Venezuelan families who have migrated to Chile. Thank you!
